Which will never get off the ground because I don't seem to have the time and mana anymore
- Mangle - the new name for my text editor shenanigans.
- Using C++ (GASP!) and Qt4 (GASP!) and QScintilla (... this man has over gasped!)
- NekoCompanionTool? - Load savegames. Locate companion npcs. Let user fix doubling (Just for companions for now, note it is a symptom of a bigger problem!). Maybe even cure epilepsy and locate missing persons!
- RACK - Rpg Arbitrary Construction Kit - Make myself a TESCS that can be generalised to multiple RPG mod systems.
- Successor to ESPGenerator idea - because mere dialogue wasn't enough. Should support TES3 and TES4. Companion project tie-in? Oh, and a GUI this time. If we're gonna use it on Windos, this one will have to be in (Edit: Qt! Qt!)
- -> See Skooma.
- Some sort of Dungeon Tile Map Construction Kit.
- Let users define tiles with SVG art, put them into groups for easy access, then paint them onto a grid. Figure out printing and let users print out their very own DnD? dungeon maps, or even just fragments they can use to build their own dungeon maps.
- Yggdrasil - with Qt4.4 including WebKit?, why not make our own browser?
- WolfenQt? - hack it up. Make it into a DE! AAAHAHAHA.
- Warehouse - manage all my video files, whats burned/unburned, renaming, md5summing, organizing space used on drives, arranging things into nice 4.3GiB? bundles for dvd burning.
- Qt GUI for OpenKore? - Start off just using QProcess and offering a text area for output and a line edit for command entry. Then wire up buttons for common commands, maybe map display, etc. Eventually, this could become an interface for our own custom AI - I don't really want to program a complete levelling-bot with Kore's system, it's too limiting. Once we get a basic AI going, we can expand.
- Oooh! And we could make one for NetHack? too! And then make a NetHack? bot! ahahahaha
- FuturamaChatterBot? - like fry! like fry!
- PresenceMonitor? - collate data from DBus sources, bluetooth, webcam, xset q, use to set Pidgin status and do other DBus things.
- Indeed, this could be a more generalised DBusConductor?
- Or maybe some kind of rss feed golem?
- SiteScraper? - to follow http://chinesepod.com RSS feed, go to page, find mp3 download link and snarf.
- YinDaemonSystem? - but do it properly this time (look up
start-stop-daemon)- And fix up that magic install all packages set up ssh etc script.
- Series60Python - stuff on my mobile. Spy camera, games, bluetooth thingy or something.
- Linger2 - IMAP client that goes to IMAP server, reads email, classifies, tags appropriately. Let people use the email clients they like. Python again?
- Clustering/SOM/etc (in a geoscience perspective, for Dietmar?)
- Suppose we can think of an algorithm that clusters, but can be guided by a user on what counts as "Interesting" - given various grids of all sorts of quantities and measurements, user outlines where they know a hotspot is, and we go clustering looking for clusters with similar relationships.
